Plot

The movie explores the side effects of misunderstandings that sometimes snowball into unimaginable disasters. Sridhar Atavi plays the lead protagonist who finds himself entangled in one such web of miscommunication.

Star Performances

Siddu C Kattimani as the writer cum director has done a great job. He has made a film that compels the audience to think about the ‘little things that make huge differences.

The acting crew has also done a fine job. Be it Sridhar Atavi [the lead protagonist], or the supporting cast, each person knows their job and has portrayed it well.

Analysis

‘Alemari E Baduku’ is a film that demands patience and time in equal measures. It is an insight into human relationships, and how small misunderstandings can wreak havoc later.

Is the film perfect? Not really. However, the film does focus on the lesser explored aspects of human relationships, and how even the smallest things in any relationship hold a lot of importance.

Sridhar Atavi, who is the lead protagonist, as well as the editor of this film, does a brilliant job in both departments. He makes the audience emotionally invested with his emotional acts. The supporting cast has done an equally brilliant job with their respective roles.

As writer cum director, Siddu C Kattimani has opted for a unique approach. There are no groundbreaking twists; the focus is clearly on the ripple effects of human flaws. The equation of music in this movie is like water to a container. The music helps in showing the feelings of the characters, making you even more involved with the entire story. Credit to MS Thyagraja for the same.

The only place where this place could have been slightly better is the direction. The ending wasn’t as great as intended, and it almost ruined the entire setting created with care by Siddu C Kattimani.

Verdict

‘Alemari E Baduku’ is a film that focuses more on substance than style. However, in this pursuit, Siddu C Kattimani misses what is needed the most: engaging content. Yet, the acting, and some technical departments more than make up for this mistake.
