Plot

A journalist who is heading for an interview with a superstar actor meets with an accident in which he suffers severe injury to the head.  
The superstar’s daughter has a heart problem and is badly in need of heart transplantation. Now, in a strange twist, parents of the journalist volunteer to donate their son’s heart.  With the permission of the reporter’s parents, his heart has to be taken via traffic-congested roads of Mumbai. Initially, police hesitate, but give in when they see the plight of the suffering child.   A traffic constable, caught red-handed on charges of bribery badly needs to prove his sincerity to the profession. So, he takes up the responsibility of transporting the heart for transplantation.  A murderous doctor is the one who gets the chance of saving the child’s life.  
The movie has several people coming across each other. The fact is that they are in no way connected to each other.

Analysis

The script by Suresh Nair Suresh Nair is an Indian screenwriter and director >> Read More... is crisp, and the narrative makes your heart jump in the mouth.  The mission seems near impossible and sets the hearts of audiences throbbing.  The pulse of the movie does not slow until the end except in few occasions when the plight of the individuals is narrated.  Performances by the artists in the movie keep the audience biting their nail in anxiety.  

What is there?

  • The script and the dialogues keep the audiences’ mind engaged.
  • The storyline which is deeply moving is neatly executed on screen.

.  What is not there?

  • The background music could have been better. 
  • The director has forgotten to maintain the essence of the original in the Hindi remake.  

Verdict.

Please do not steer your vehicle away from the theater just because there are a few negativities in the movie.
