ANALYSIS:
The plot of the movie is very clichéd. Two broken souls looking for that one thing that’s missing in their lives: TRUE LOVE. But it’s still a far cry from a good rom-com. The plot is very weak in the sense that it doesn’t captivate the audience’s attention. After half an hour into the movie you would be left disinterested because along with the clichéd plot, everything from the dialogues to the characters is clichéd as well. The movie is good in parts and is very innovative in some aspects of its filmmaking, but director Devika Bhagat Devika Bhagat is an Indian screenwriter and direct >> Read More... failed to exploit the talented cast she had at her disposal. Maybe she should have just stuck to directing the movie, and left the storytelling to someone else.

WHAT’S THERE?
•    Really good cinematography. The camera work and portrayal of Bombay is everything that makes a person fall in love in Bombay.
•    Abhay Deol’s acting. This should not come as a surprise to anyone. I wouldn’t call this as one of his best works, but his acting is very convincing and anyone with a broken heart would not fail to connect with his character.
•    Editing. Kudos to the editor. As the movie progresses in the form of two parallel stories, a scene from one story cuts to another is very a innovatie and appealing manner.

WHAT’S NOT THERE?
•    The storyline. Even though it has a clichéd plot. The director could have improved the way the story develops. The development of the characters is also poor. The storyline doesn’t leave you invested in the characters.
•    The movie is very predictable. The script fails to compensate for the predictability.

VERDICT:
Honestly, don’t waste your money on this. You won’t be missing out on much. Wait for it to be telecasted on the television.
