Plot
There was a gangster Anand, living in Delhi. He works in a land mafia, and fears property owners and captures their apartments illegally. He and his group of friends are having a great profit and earning well. One day, he has seen an injured girl lying on the road. He takes the girl to the hospital. Unfortunately, she died. This incident makes him feel bad. He is not able to concentrate on anything. His friends are trading him about it for his weird behavior. In his house, he thinks that there is a ghost. He gets scared about it. He told one of his friends about it. His friend makes fun of it, but after experiencing the presence of the ghost, he, too, gets scared. What will happen next? What is the intention of the ghost? Will Anand be able to have a normal life? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Abhay Deol, as Anand, did an incredible performance in the film. His journey to escape from the ghost in his house was brilliant. Her detailing of the character was outstanding. His acting and dialogue delivery was good in the film. Patralekha, as Siddhi, did a fantastic performance in the movie. She shows the nature of a young girl who had a tragic accident and became ghost. Her acting was factual and natural. One would love Manu Rishi as Dabbu, after watching this movie. That much impact he made in the whole film. His appearance as a friend of Anand was funny and good. Brijendra Kala, as Mr. Kumar, did a remarkable performance in the movie. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.
Analysis
The storyline of the film was great, funny, and interesting —the film focus on the central theme of horror comedy. The film is a remake of the Tamil movie Pisaasu. The adaption in the film was poorly done. The comedy nature of the film is maintained from the start till the end. Supernatural elements like the ghost are shown in the movie. The horror in the film was bad. The storyline in the film is good, but the script is poorly written. The execution of the film was bad. The funny journey of Anand and the ghost is demonstrated in the movie. The theme and concept in the film was good. The storyline is lengthy, with unnecessary scenes. This itself makes the movie boring. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent.
