Plot

Nikhil Sood is a police officer. While on duty, his wife Prerna calls him continuously due to their son, Dhruv. Amidst this, he receives a call in the control room from a woman who is to commit suicide. Nikhil tries to cool down her. Soon, he realizes that this is not only about the troubled woman but also connected to his life. Who is the woman, and what’s her connection with Nikhil and his family? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Manoj did justice to his role, and his expressions while speaking with his wife and the anonymous woman are excellent. Neena had got a different role, and she excelled in it. Although Sakshi appears in just a few scenes, she attracts the audience with her natural performance.

Analysis

The director has given Manoj Bajpayee another cop role, which he had done with ease in his previous films. The artists’ selection is good, especially Manoj, Neena, and Sakshi. Although Sakshi is provided with a few scenes, an emotional scene in the film took her to heights. Manoj plays a cop who doesn’t have a great relationship with his wife and son. He managed the character well in three dimensions; as a cop, husband, and father. The BGM and cinematography supported the film well.

With some mistakes here and there, the Manoj Bajpayee – Neena Gupta movie is impressive for its stars' performances. If you adore them, then this is your cup of tea!
