Plot
Pankaj Bhatti, an Indian-origin businessman, was brutally murdered in Budapest. When looking at the murder, they initially suspected it to be out of hate. However, it turned into a complex case, later. Sherdil, a detective, joined the team to investigate this case. He suspects Pankaj’s family members, including Angad, Rajeshwari, Shanti and Bodhi Mama. Did he find the culprit?
Star Performance
The actors have done whatever is possible. Due to weak writing, even Diljit’s performance didn’t impress much. However, he has done his part to the best extent.
Analysis
The script is pretty decent. The director maintained the pace well. However, the writing is a big let out. If the screenplay and characters had been written intact, the performances could’ve been elevated well. Due to the weak writing, the audience didn’t get engaged throughout. However, some scenes maintained their pace and grip. There are too many characters involved, which may be one of the reasons for the lack of concentration in the main characters. The comedy scenes didn’t work out well despite being a dark comedy. The visuals are pretty decent. The editing should’ve been crisper.
