Sonam Bajwa Officially Joins Border 2 Cast

The rumors have turned out to be true, as Sonam Bajwa has officially joined the cast of Border 2.

The Punjabi actress will be shooting for the war drama soon, which stars an ensemble cast of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, Paramvir Cheema, Medha Rana etc. Anurag Singh of Kesari fame will be directing the movie.

Sonam Bajwa has been famous mostly for her Punjabi movies. Though she made her Hindi debut with the 2019 movie Bala, it wasn’t until 2025 that she finally made her breakthrough with the crime comedy Housefull 5.

Sonam Bajwa was last seen in the recently released action drama Baaghi 4, which starred Tiger Shroff alongside Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, Sanjay Dutt, Shreyas Talpade, Sanjay Dutt, Upendra Limaye etc. Despite the best of efforts, the movie has only managed a worldwide collection of 46 crores over a budget of 90 crores, with the net domestic collection of just 33 crores.

Apart from Border 2, Sonam Bajwa is also working on a romantic drama Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat. The movie stars Harshvardhan Rane in the lead role, and will be directed by Milap Milan Zaveri.
