Based on an American film Just like Heaven (2005), 'Dangerous Khiladi 5' is dubbed in Hindi language while the original version of the movie ' Endukante... Premanta' is in Telugu language. Its directed by A. Karunakaran.

Plot The movie is a love story of two souls in two different eras. It begins in 1980 where Krishna (Ram) loves Srinidhi (Tamannaah) but is hesitant to say. From last three years, he daily reaches bus stand to see Srinidhi boarding her ladies college bus. On the other hand, Srinidhi also likes him but because of her family, she does not confess her love to Krishna. On the last day of college, Krishna wears a 'burqa' so that he can board the bus and propose Srinidhi. But the fatal bus meets with an accident and Krishna saves Srinidhi but dies himself.

Srinidhi also couldn’t survive for a longer duration and dies at Krishna's grave. The movie then moves to 2012 where Ram (Ram) is a happy go life person, and his this carefree attitude is not acceptable to his father ( Sayaji Shinde He is one of the most famous Tollywood and Bollywo >> Read More... ) as he wants him to be serious about life. On the other hand, medical student Sravanthi (Tamanna) who lives in Paris wants to live a free life but is always bounded by security because her father is Indian Ambassador to France (Suman). Ram's father plan and sends him to Paris for a job. Here Ram and Sravanthi come across each other and their friendship blooms. The rest of the story is about how this couple's love, which failed in past six lives succeed in this last life.

Analysis: Karunakaran known for his heart - touching stories has again come up with a love story where elements of past life and karma add to the twists. The story is quite good but only on paper as to make it impactful on the silver screen; all technical aspects need to add. All other's have added for the betterment of the movie, but Screenplay, Editing, and even direction have failed. Karunakaran's direction couldn't execute a new theme properly in front of the audience.

Star Performances: Ram and Tamannah have acted well. Their performances and energy levels add to the charm of the story. Both have researched on their dual roles to add a natural essence to their character. The dancing skills of Ram are commendable. V. Prakash Kumar is not that soothing and songs are not good. Also, Screenplay and Editing are below par level, but the Cinematography is superb and binds the movie.

What's there?

1. Ram and Tamannah's acting and dance by Ram are a feel good factor and definitely a plus.

2. The story is new and has the potential to keep the interest of the audiences.

3. Cinematography by I. Andrew needs a bow as it saved the movie to an extent.

What's not there?

1. The direction makes the story quite predictable in the first half itself, leaving the second half with nothing much to offer.

2. Technical aspects like Screenplay and editing pulls the script down.

3. Emotional scenes are not impactful.

4. Music and comic elements are average.

Verdict: Overall, 'Dangerous Khiladi 5' is a saga of love, separation, and life. Its a one time watch and the lead actors may attract the audience to movie halls.
