Plot
In 1990s, Ruth is an American journalist who travels to Poland with her father Edek, who is a Holocaust survivor. Edek is uncomfortable with the surroundings, and tries to avoid going further, resulting in hilarious accidents. With Edek manage to make peace?

However, writer cum director Julia von Heinz has taken great care with this film. Despite the sensitivity of the case, you don’t feel uncomfortable at any moment. The audience can connect themselves with this movie at every moment. ‘Treasure’ is one of those rare movies that actually lives up to its name. This movie is just not any random movie; it’s an emotion in itself.
The movie is not only realistic, but also crisp and to the point. In less than 2 hours, the viewers learn some of the toughest lessons of life in the simplest ways possible. It’s not an easy job, but Julia von Heinz with her brilliant writing makes it look so. The only flaw about this movie was its rushed ending.
Apart from Julia von Heinz, Lena Dunham and Stephen Fry have done a fantastic job with their roles. In fact, they are the main reason why this movie clicks in the first place. There is another angle in this movie, but revealing it would spoil the experience altogether.
