JR's mom couldn't pay the rent for their house, so they shifted to their grandparents' house. JR befriends his uncle, Charlie. Charlie teaches him a lot, cares for him, and guides him. The story deals with how the boy sees his father in people of his dad's age.
Daniel Ranieri played the kid JR, and he excelled well in the role. It is exciting to see a kid portrays the role naturally. Lily Rabe and Christopher Lloyd had done a perfect job. There was no need to discuss Ben, as he had excelled extraordinarily in his role.
The Tender Bar has a simple story, and the execution is excellent. The cast is perfectly picked, and except for a couple of actors, the rest of them fit well in the roles. There are a lot of emotional moments that create Goosebumps. Uncle Charlie's role is well designed, and Ben Affleck did justice to the character assigned to him with an enormous trust. The writing and the execution are fantastic, and the teamwork is appreciable. From the story team to the editing team, everyone performed their part well.
