Plot

Star was: The Last Jedi directed by Rian Johnson is an action-packed, sci-fi fantasy. The plot revolves around our heroes’ armada to not win but rather keep away from being wiped out. The story envisions multiple missions that draw the heroes closer to their end goals and sometimes drag them away. One witness uninterrupted successive climaxes. With an old business resolved, new business is introduced.

Analysis

The Last Jedi despite being a part of Star Wars series, it consciously deviates from the “force” or “war” but delves deeper into the true meaning of a force. Rian Johnson advocates the idea that force is found in everyone. The Last Jedi demonstrates that the heroes and the villains are very much in control of their light and dark sides in relation to The Force.

It deconstructs and critiques the Star Wars saga. With a deliberate subversion of the conventional themes, it offers a strong social critique of relegating power to only a selected few. The film offers a platter of humour, an exciting spectacle and space battles with lightsaber duels. The film twists the imagination and expectations of the viewers and is sure to arouse awe and amazement through its screenplay.
