Plot

Martha and Sean are a couple. Martha is pregnant. She is a corporate employee. Sean is a construction worker. Martha’s mom Elizabeth gifts Martha a car. Sean and Martha become happy. Sean gives Martha a photo frame of her ultrasound. When they arrived home, Martha was feeling unwell. Sean called the midwife Barbara. Eva came to their house instead of Barbara. Martha is upset about this because Barbara is the one who constantly checks on her medical reports. Eva checks Martha and tells her to take a bath. While bathing, Martha was bleeding. Eva again checks her. She tell her that the baby should be delivered today itself. Eva recommends Sean to take Martha to the hospital. Sean tells this to Martha. Martha disagreed with this and tells Eva that she will be delivered the baby in-house. After so much struggle Martha finally gives birth to a girl. But Eva notices strange things about the baby. Maratha's baby has died. Sean is ready to file a case against Eva. Meanwhile, Martha is prepared to donate the organs of her daughter. What will happen to Martha and Sean? Will they file a lawsuit against Eva or donate the baby's organs? The rest of the film speaks about this.

Star Performance

Vanessa Kirby is the protagonist of the film. Her role as Martha was beautiful and meaningful. She shows the struggle of the woman who faces grief and loss of her dead child in the entire movie. Shia LaBeouf did an incredible performance in the film. His acting was natural. He shows loving at the same as an irresponsible husband in the movie. Ellen Burstyn did an outstanding performance in the movie. She leads the fundamental nature of the mother. Molly Parker did a fantastic performance in the movie. Her acting shows the fundamental nature of a midwife handling the problems of a woman. Her existence in the movie made this film alive. Iliza Shlesinger and Sarah Snook also did a remarkable performance in the movie. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

The storyline in the film was beautiful. The film was pleasant to watch. The central theme of the film was grief and loss of a mother when she knew her child was dead.
