A western movie based on a DC comic's character with the same name.

PLOT: Josh Brolin is forced by his officer, John Malkovich, to destroy a hospital. Josh refuses to do this. But unfortunately, circumstances force him to kill his best friend Jeb, who also happens to be John's son. To take revenge on Josh, John ties him in front of his house, and burns Josh's house with Josh's wife and son inside. They force him to starve to death. But Josh is recovered and healed by the American Indians, and he gets special powers. He uses this power to take revenge on John, and also uses it for bounty hunting. In another part of the movie, it is revealed that John is still alive, and carries illegal activities against the country. The higher officials approach Josh for help. Will he be able to take revenge and kill John? Most of the situations were not making any sense, and characters were made to fill in the places. The flashback part of the movie, scripted by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor Brian Taylor is an American Producer, Screenwriter >> Read More... , was so poor. Few scenes, such as the need to burn a hospital, were not explained and failed to satisfy our interest for logic. The continuity of the movie was strongly affected by introducing imaginary fights among the real life scenes.

STAR PERFORMANCE: Megan Fox She’s known to be one of the “Sexiest Woman Alive” >> Read More... 's role was totally pointless. Brolin did a good job in expressing himself as a typical bounty hunter, with a scarred face, and an alcoholic look. Though his one-liners were clumsy, he delivered it perfectly. Michael Fassbender's role as Burke, was the only role to be appreciated. Michael Shannon Michael Corbett Shannon is an actor and a musician >> Read More... and Megan Fox were not utilized completely. WHAT'S THERE? The way how Josh communicate with the dead people is quite catchy. The supernatural events captured our attention at times.

WHAT'S NOT THERE? The characters were not sketched properly. The final action sequence was totally a drawback. The editing team of the movie completely destroyed the narrative, and the emotions used in the movie.

VERDICT: A good example of how not to clone a comic into a movie.
