Plot
In the starting of the movie, we see a couple. The boy’s name was Hank and the girl’s name was Audrey, have been in a relationship for a long time, so they decide to get married. Now on this day, both of them get married legally and become husband and wife. They went to a bar where a performance was going on. Then they went to the bar together where Hank had a performance. Hank was a singer who use to sing is small bars and restaurants. Hank gets on the stage with his team and starts singing with the instruments playing in the background. Later Hank asks his wife to come on the stage and sing, she starts her song, she is not a professional singer and therefore got out of tune while singing. So, a man sitting in the bar gets angry at her and tells Hank that his wife’s voice is very bad. Which then triggered an argument and also a fight among them. Hang’s friends somehow cool down the situation. In the next morning, we see Hank sleeping with his wife, he had planned to record a song in the studio today which he had forgotten about till his mother reminds him. While his mom was driving him to the studio we get, to know that Hank wants to sing for well known companies which will make him popular. Will his dream going to be fulfilled? What are the challenges he is going to face? The rest of the film revolves around it.
Star Performance
You will be pleasantly surprised to see Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen were starring in this movie. Tom's performance here was soulful and truly saddening and heartbreaking, and that's actually what makes the whole movie meaningful. Perhaps the other aspects like the storytelling, plot or lack of firework and tenacity made it seem less powerful for a biopic. Altogether, everyone did a fantastic job and it’s definitely worth watching.
Analysis
Hank Williams singing voice is probably one of the most recognizable voices in music ever. It does seem a big challenge for actors to portray characters in movies with a documentarian basis especially when their characterization is of someone who was once alive and they did a great job. The movie is a mishmash of scenes spliced together. It even begins in the middle of he and his girlfriend Audrey getting married. They should have started earlier and portrayed the homeless black man who supposedly taught Hank a lot about music in Montgomery and the time when Minnie Pearl tried to cheer him up to sing "I Saw the Light" together. The film was somewhat accurate and entertaining.

Verdict
This is an average movie because every actor did their best to create a great movie and Tom Hiddleston did great in this one. If you like music then probably you are going to have a great watch.Â
