Just as the name suggests, this movie is about our age-old vengeful monster created from the parts of other corpses who is back in our modern day after centuries only to find himself in the middle of a much older never-ending war between other mystical species which is threatening to engulf the oblivious human race. 

As he is burying the dead body of his creator in the family cemetery, Frankenstein is rescued by the gargoyles when the demons try to attack him. He is then explained the centuries old war between these immortal creatures and from henceforth he is named ‘ Adam Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. He keeps battling the demons for many centuries using the weapons given to him the gargoyles which help him trap demons down in Hell. However, when the Prince of the demons, Naberius comes to know about Adam, he tries to start reanimating corpses, with the help of the journal Adam’s creator used to keep, to form an army to take down Adam and also the Order of the Gargoyle. 

The action sequences that take place between the demons and Adam lacked some of the quality CGI that was required, making it seem a little bland. Even though many efforts have been made to make the eternal conflict of the demons and gargoyles seem more realistic in the present day, some aspects of the movie like the beautiful Miranda Otto proclaiming herself as the Queen of the Gargoyles, and the scene in which we can see the perfectly chiselled abs of Adam amidst the stitches running here and there, doesn’t seem to match up. 

Somehow, the 3D effects and the hard-to-digest story line make the movie kind of lose its way among all the complexities of the rules and rituals of the Gargoyles and the Demons. The special effects and the plot, which was expected to be much more engaging, leaves a lot to be desired. 

To this modern age bland story-telling of a soulless monster, I give this movie 2 out of 5 popcorn tubs.
