Plot: A group of friends goes back in time using a time machine that wasn't working very well in a resort. If they change any event of the past, they may jeopardize the existence of their nephew.
What you may like:
1. This movie can with all earnestly be considered one of those absurd yet entertaining ones of the era. It was highly engaging with twists, turns and logic-defying ideas that were employed to make it enjoyable.
2. As much as this movie was enjoyable it was very funny too. You would have moments of laughing your lungs out and almost falling off your seats. This makes the movie an amazing way to spend your time and money.
3. The basic theme of the movie is the meddling of the entire space-time continuum. This will take you back to the era of the 80s with its songs, celebrities and clothing. It is almost fascinating to have jokes that resonate back to our times while still being in the 80s.
4. There are many main leads per se and all of them get their moments of glory and comic instances that help them connect with the audience and give them a dose of laughter. The background artists who apparently didn't have a huge role to play were also given their sweet time to come on screen and act their best.
5. It is because the people had their time on screen, they were able to act their level best and hence made it a good piece of work especially because of the actors of the film. They made the movie funny in their own unique way.
What you may dislike:
1. It is very absurd kind of comedy which actually defies all abilities within us to logically perceive something.
2. The space-time continuum that constitutes the major theme of the movie has very illogically toyed with making the movie lacking any kind of logical technicality.
Verdict: A must watch because of the kind of laughter it evokes.
