Attack the Block The flick ‘Attack the Block’ is a fast moving one and is packed with scenes of adventure. Also, there are action scenes aplenty. The flick shows a group of teenager clashing with cruel alien monsters. The plot happens in a London Estate. The movie projects a multi-storey that turns into a marauded fort.Â
The teenagers in the movie happen to be the heroes, and the movie shows the city-dwellers clashing with extraterrestrials. There are five in the gang, and all of them, including Jerome, Pest, Biggs and Dennis are headed by the teenage leader Moses.
The flick unfolds with these guys attacking a paramedical nurse Samantha Adams. Suddenly from nowhere, something lands with a thud. The intercepting gang and Samantha think it is a meteorite. The object destroys car parked beside. Making use of the resulting chaos, Samantha makes good her escape. Moses ransacks the car for something worth stealing. Moses is taken aback by a creature that slashes his face.Â
Moses realizes that the object thought to be a the meteorite is, in fact, the cocoon of the creature. The creature flees. The gang corners it and finishes it off. The following scene unfolds in the vicinity of Wyndham Tower, where the gang hides the dead creature. A local gang leader Hi-Hatz comes into the scenario and he takes the dead creature into his custody. Suddenly, strange objects fall from the sky. The objects, unlike the previous one, are huge creatures, powerful enough to kill a man.Â
Scenes portray the clash between the gangsters and the extraterrestrial creatures. Samantha emerges in the movie again and nurses wounds sustained by gangsters during a clash with the creatures. She stays with the gang through rest of the story. Also, a few police officers emerge in the movie. They identify the thugs and try to detain them. But, they turn victims to the creatures which are on killing spree. During the movie, the gang of teenage thugs loses few of its members. But in the climax, leader Moses saves the city from aliens. He is lauded for his bravery, and his cheered by local residents.
