The purchasers of the Pawan Kalyan starrer who were expecting the film to do decently in the box-office for the second week did not get relief as senior hero Venkatesh’s Guru took over the center stage at the box office. The movie Katamarayudu got a good number in the first weekend. Katamarayudu witnessed a huge dip on the week days other than the Ugadi holiday.
The movie is still heading for losses, but purchasers had faith that the movie will retain a pocketful of crores during the second Saturday and Sunday. However, this week’s release Guru, which opened to the decent word of mouth, defeated Katamarayudu and as per reports became the first preference of movie lovers during the weekend. It happens to be a sports drama, and as per reports, it has performed well than its performance on the first two days. It has taken over Katamarayudu in the process. With the unanticipated domination from Guru, Katamarayudu will end up collecting less money.
