Recently the holy pilgrimage of Tirupati Balaji was under the spotlight for the adulteration of its prasadam, where the ruling government of Andhra Pradesh accused their predecessors of lacing the laddus used in the prasadam with animal fat, especially beef tallow, considered to be a sacrilege for the devout Hindus.
At a recent pre release event of Karthi’s upcoming movie ‘Meiyazhagan’, some insensitive jokes were made on this controversy. Though Karthi Sivakumar didn’t himself speak about it, the event came under fire for poking fun at the Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam.
Pawan Kalyan didn’t take kindly to this, and warned people, irrespective from which film industry, to refrain from making jokes on this issue. Following criticism on staying silent, Karthi personally apologized for the same to Pawan Kalyan, assuring that this won’t happen in his presence again.
