Rumors On Oopiri’s Satellite Rights!

“Oopiri,” the multi-starrer movie by Akkineni Nagarjuna, Karthik Sivakumar and Tamannaah Bhatia has been running successfully in the theatres. The latest buzz about the film is that it has been sold at a fantastic price of Rs. 14 Crore to an entertainment channel, which is based in Chennai. However, the production house, PVP Cinemas denied the reports. It is heard that deal with the entertainment channel has not yet closed and is still on. A source close to the production house says that both Tamil and Telugu version of “Oopiri” are not yet sold. The film is an adaptation of a French movie, “The Intouchables.” Oopiri/ "Thozha" is running successfully in India and overseas too. Reports say that the film will be the highest grosser in Nagarjuna’s career in overseas.
