However, Prasanth Varma himself came out to clear the air on the same. According to the same, the movie is far from over, and talks are going on between himself, Mythri Movie Makers [the producers] and Ranveer Singh so that things go back on track.

According to the reports, ‘Rakshas’ is the story of an anti hero, set in pre independence India era. Ranveer Singh will be playing the lead role, which will also be his Telugu debut, if everything goes right. Prasanth will be working on this project first before moving to the much awaited ‘ Jai Hanuman Jai Hanuman is an Indian TV series which shows the >> Read More... ’, which would be the sequel to his blockbuster ‘Hanu Man’.

While there is nothing big for Ranveer this year, except for a cameo in ‘Singham Again’, he has a few films lined up.
