According to the recent reports, Prasanth will be making the sequel of the horror comedy Zombie Reddy. Released just before the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie was a surprise hit amongst the audiences.

Prasanth Varma previously directed the superhero action movie Hanu Man, which infused the tales of Pavanputr Hanuman with modern day problems. Starring Teja Sajja as Hanumanthu, the movie was praised for its raw action, and its innovative approach towards superheroes. The movie also earned two National Awards for Best Film – AVGC and Best Action Stunts.
