Almost two weeks after walking out of a shoot midway, the makers of ‘Rakshas’ have released an official statement. According to the statement,

and Ranveer Singh have ‘amicably parted ways on the film due to creative differences’.
‘Rakshas’ would have been Prasanth’s next big project after ‘Hanu Man’, where Ranveer Singh would have played a character with shades of grey. The movie was set in pre independence era, and Ranveer had even joined the team for shooting the announcement video. However, before the video was complete, Ranveer walked out midway.
While this won’t be a major loss for either Prasanth Varma or Mythri Movie Makers [who were producing this film], it would be tough for Ranveer to bounce back from here. While Ranveer would be appearing in ‘Singham Again’, he will have to wait till late 2025, when either ‘Don 3’ or ‘
