Today, people of Visakhapatnam didn’t see pleasant dawn. LG Polymer plant at Gopalapatnam in Visakhapatnam released poisonous gas and took the lives of eight people. It is heard that the workers had been preparing to re-open the plant, which had been shut due to the lockdown and gas started leaking. But, soon, they neutralized it into liquefied form. Somehow, it spread and axed the lives of people. Many people are admitted to the hospital and some are discharged.

People who received the primary care treatment will be given Rs 25000 and people, who will be receiving treatment for 2-3 days will be provided Rs 1 lakh. He also announced that Rs 10 lakh would be provided to the people, who are under ventilator support. Jagan stated that the government would take necessary action against the company.
