Jaganmohan Reddy, sworn in as the Andhra Pradesh CM on 30th May 2019. He has announced YSR Arogyasri, a healthcare scheme which was earlier launched by YSR in 2009 as Rajiv Gandhi Arogyasri. When “
N Chandrababu Naidu” came to the throne, he renamed Rajiv Gandhi Arogyasri as NTR Vaidya Seva. Jaganmohan has been renaming a few more schemes in the name of the late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He has introduced Rajanna Badibata. Under this scheme, the children between 6 and 14 should be enrolled in the schools and there shouldn’t be any dropouts.
All the children should be educated and there should be no illiterates in the state. The classrooms should be maintained neatly. The children should be provided with text books, uniforms, food and all other essential things. Child labor should be banned. Schools could get support from NGOs and alumni to develop the infrastructure of the schools and the education quality. Education department should offer the right support to the headmasters and the teachers to solve the issues in implementing the scheme. Good effort by Jagan!
