Cop Role Doesn’t Work For Venki!

Daggubati Venkatesh made his comeback after a couple of years with Babu Bangaram. The film was highly expected as it has “Nayantara” in the lead. As “Thikka” didn’t do well in the theaters, it was guessed that Babu Bangaram would shine well. The film collected a good amount, initially. However, Venkatesh didn’t get the credit of choosing the role. Always the Cop characters are not going well with Venkatesh, says a report. Venki made his cop attempt with Super Police and it was a disaster. Later, he remade “Kaaka Kaaka,” a super hit Tamil film by Suriya Sivakumar and Jyothika Saravanan as “Gharsana.” It was also a flop. In “Eenadu,” he did a cop role along with Kamal Haasan and that too didn’t impress the audiences. Despite the good opening, the film could not survive, says the trade experts, as the word of mouth for Babu Bangaram is not that good. So, every time, Venki wears the Khaki, his efforts become useless.
