Chiranjeevi Signs Four Back To Back Projects

Chiranjeevi is learning a lot from his past errors.

After cutting a sorry figure with back to back failures like ‘ Godfather Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ and ‘Bholaa Shankar’, Chiranjeevi has decided to rework on his strategies for the future.

According to recent reports, Chiranjeevi has signed four back to back projects after ‘Vishwambhara’. Nothing is official about these projects, except for a common fact : none of them will be remakes!

In fact, Chiranjeevi is trying hard to stay away from remakes. His last two movies, ‘Godfather’ and ‘Bholaa Shankar’, were remakes of ‘ Lucifer Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ and ‘Vedhalam’ respectively. None of the two movies clicked with the masses, forget recovering the original cost altogether. While ‘Godfather’ still managed to earn more than 100 crores, ‘Bhola Shankar’ ended up at a mere 42.25 crores, as compared to the budget of 101 crores.

This is why Chiranjeevi wants to leave no stone unturned. He has made it clear that he wants scripts with a fresh approach, even if he has to change his image of a commercial star. Chiranjeevi is already giving it his all to ‘Vishwambhara’, which is a socio fantasy drama directed by Mallidi Vassishta, who is also known for his debut movie ‘Bimbisara’, which was a surprise success, despite clashing with a film like ‘Sita Ramam’.
