‘Chhaava’ To Release In Telugu On March 7

Tollywood fans have won! The much talked about blockbuster ‘Chhaava’ is finally set to release in Telugu!

According to the recent reports, the makers of ‘Chhaava’ have graciously accepted the demand to re-release ‘Chhaava’ with Telugu dub in theaters from March 7. The demand was made by several Telugu fans, following the growing popularity of the movie in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

He w >> Read More... as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the aggressive but equally charismatic son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who commanded the Marathas after his death.

The movie covers his life from 1681, when he took reign of the Maratha dominions to his untimely demise in 1689, when he was captured alongside his loyal aide Kavi Kalash and murdered after 40 days of unspeakable torture at the hands of the Mughals led by their ruler, Aurangzeb, whose role was played impeccably by Akshaye Khanna.

Made on a reasonable budget of 130 crore, the movie has become Indian cinema’s first film in 2025 to earn more than 500 crores worldwide. Even in just Bharat, the movie has earned more than 380 crores in terms of net domestic collections, making it a certified blockbuster.
