Bandla Ganesh Reveals That Telugu Cinema Needs More Quality Than 1000 Crore Films

Telugu producer Bandla Ganesh is all praises for Little Hearts.

Ganesh spoke about the surprise success of this movie, which was directed by Sai Marthand, and starred Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram. With back to back successes of Little Hearts and Mirai, Tollywood is back on track.

Bandla Ganesh also took a jibe at big producers for being obsessed with numbers like 1000 crore, and focusing lesser on quality of the content being presented to the audience.

Bandla Ganesh referred to the duds like Game Changer, Kannappa etc. which spent extravagant money on the budget, but focused little on the content. In fact, it were the small films which kept Tollywood aloft, like Court – State vs a Nobody, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, Mad Square etc. Teja Sajja once again saved the day with his fantasy drama Mirai, which turned out to be a bonafide box office hit in its opening week despite mixed reviews.
