With a few good tracks the album is just about average- the good ones are not great; they are not remotely close to the magical Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Mukunda.
The best song of Brahmatsovam is undoubtedly “Aata Pataladu”, but not up to the mark. Vachindi Kada takes time to hit the soul- gets better only after you listen to it on loop for a couple of times. The title track has some beautiful words in it, but the ordinary tune ruins the high. While Madhuram Madhuram is average, Put Your Hand Up can be skipped straight away. The lyricist Sirivennela Seeta Rama Sastry has done a fair job. But the music could have been a lot better. Some songs are not even worth trying out once.
Expectations from a film that is directed by Addala where Mickey composes the music is high, and at times it is difficult to match those- but Mickey’s musical sense and caliber could have been put to use in a lot better way. Probably, the songs look good with the visuals, which would have the heartthrob of South, Mahesh Babu, and create a better impact.
