Petrol and diesel price hiked! Petrol cost is increased by Rs. 3.78 and Diesel cost by Rs. 1. 76. As the VAT has been imposed by the TN government on petroleum products, the price is hiked.

Government employees will be imposed the Income Tax from their salaries. From March 2017, the deductions will be made from their salary. If the employees want to alter the amount on GPF (General Provident Fund), they can fill and submit the form regarding this on 8th March 2017.
