The Tamil Film Producer Council will be managed by a Special Officer named N Sekar, who is appointed by the Tamilnadu Governor. It is said that the Income and Expenditure account of the TFPC hadn’t been approved by all the members of the council. It is also said that the accounts of the TFPC had been maintained in the TNagar Office, which is not legally registered as the TFPC’s branch office. The Special Officer has been given the power to exercise any function of the committee and could discharge the duties as per the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975 and Tamilnadu Societies Registration Rules 1978. The newly appointed officer produced an information circular regarding this to the TFPC. He stated that as per the Government Order dated on 26th April 2019 of Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, he takes in charge as the Special Officer to manage the affairs of Tamil Film Producers Council from 27th April 2019.
