Tamilnadu Government Betrays The Farmers?

When the farmers had been protesting to grant the drought relief and waive off the crop loans, the TN Government has stated in the Supreme Court that not even a single farmer had committed suicide due to the drought but for their personal reasons. It had mentioned that some of the farmers died due to heart attack and age-related illness and some others committed suicide due to their personal problems. The Government stated that it had provided the relief for the family of the deceased farmers at Rs. 3 Lakh/ family and a total amount of Rs. 2.46 Crores.
