It was disheartening to hear that a Chennai doctor died due to coronavirus and his burial was not peaceful. The people near the burial ground area opposed for his grave at their place as the corona might spread and affect them. This was much shocking to everyone and a lot of people condemned this inhumane act. “

,” the Tamilnadu CM stated that he is much worried to hear that the people opposed burying the doctor. He also requests everyone to respect the dedication of the doctors and treat them with humanity.
He posted on his Twitter, “கொரோனாவிலிருந்து நம்மை காக்க போராடிய மருத்துவர்களை இழந்திருக்கும் இந்த வேதனையான நேரத்தில் அவர்களை நல்லடக்கம் செய்வதில் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிப்பது மிகுந்த மனவருத்தமளிக்கிறது. நாம் அனைவரும் அவர்களின் அர்ப்பணிப்பிற்கு மரியாதையளித்து மனிதநேயத்துடன் நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமென கேட்டு கொள்கிறேன்.”
