” announced that the government would take essential measures to shut the Copper Plant in Thoothukudi. He also said that the efforts would be taken by the government even though there are any legal hurdles to shut the factory. OPS also said that the gunshot was a tragedy and it melted the hearts of everyone. He wished the injured people to have a speedy recovery and offered his condolences for the death of the 13 souls that had gone due to the police firing. OPS stated that the Amma Government will always do good to the people and recalled that the Sterlite factory was Shut by Amma “
