. Following the reception of Oscar, he is into the work for Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi movies. For the upcoming flick 2.0 directed by Shankar, Resul Pookutty is the sound engineer. For the first time, Resul Pookutty is to make appearance in a movie. The movie is being made based on the world renowned Pooram Festival, celebrated in Thrissur Kerala.
The programs held during the Pooram have been recorded perfectly with the help of innumerous microphones by Resul Pookutty. There are a number of occasions held during the Pooram Festival. So that the fans enjoy the Pooram festival, there is a movie titled Oru Kathai Sollattuma. The movie is a directorial venture by Prashanth Prabhakar. The movie is being made in Malayalam. The movie is to be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Resul Pookutty, who was behind the screens for so long, is turning into an actor through the movie.
