” controversially stated that King Raja Raja Chozha is a scamper. He said that the King brought in the Devadasi system and degraded the women. Raja Raja Chozha grabbed the lands from his community, stated Pa Ranjith. This created a great controversy and many people complained about Pa Ranjith. Recently, Mukkulathor Pulipadai filed a complaint petition in Pudhukottai police Station against Ranjith. In that petition, they stated that Ranjith’s statement had created a clash between the communities and he has insulted the Hindu sentiments.
Meanwhile, the Madras High Court Madurai bench ordered that the police should not arrest Ranjith until 19th of this month. It is to be noted that the Tamilnadu Government shows no interest in providing anticipatory bail to Pa Ranjith!
