No Court Announced To Remove Jayalalithaa’s Photos – Rajendra Balaji
Some of the political parties said that the photos of late CM “Jayalalithaa” should be removed from the government offices. Rajendra Balaji, the Cabinet Minister in Tamilnadu Legislative Assembly, replied that no courts and law stated that the picture of Madam Jayalalithaa should not be kept in the government offices. Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose were also convicted by the British government for violating the rules and we are still having their pictures in our offices, says Rajendra Balaji. The case had been on the court for the past 21 years and in the final verdict, the Supreme Court removed Jayalalithaa’s name as she is no more and announced Sasikala and the others as convicts and sentenced them to four years imprisonment and Rs. 10 Crore fine.
