Naren Balakumar Makes His Entry To Kollywood With Thappu Thanda!

Thappu Thanda is the upcoming film directed by “Srikantan,” a former associate of Balu Mahendra. It is a dark comedy film with thriller elements and it is produced by Satyamurthi under Clapboard Production banner. Naren Balakumar makes his entry into Kollywood as a music director with this film. Naren is well versed in western classical and Hindustani. His single track for the film Thappu Thanda called Duplika Domari had crossed nearly 1.2 million views. It is a great response for a debutant. Besides Chennai Super Kings Anthem and Thalaivanukku Oru Paatu, a tribute to the Kollywood Superstar “Rajinikanth,” Naren has composed the background scores and music for a lot of short films. On seeing the response of Duplika Domari, we feel that Naren has a good future in Kollywood!
