Minister Velumani Speaks About The Water Supply In TN!

SP Velumani is the cabinet minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development, Corporations and Urban & Rural Water Supply. As there is no rainfall, the water scarcity aroused. To manage the scarcity and quench the thirst of the people, the corporation supplies, the water through Lorries, says Velumani. He also informed that to alleviate the water scarcity, the drinking water schemes are going on at a quick pace. Rs. 976.77 Crore has been invested in this regard, informed Velumani. He also stated that new water policy project is being followed with Rs. 47 Crore budget in Usilampatti. At present, the assembly meeting is going on and the ruling party and the opposition parties discuss the budget.
