Actress 'Khushboo' is once again in a controversy! At an event commemorating the 137th birth anniversary of social reformer ‘EVR Periyar’, Khushbu said that it should be left to the woman to decide whether or not to wear the ‘Thali’. The Thali is considered to be one of the most sacred symbols by Hindus and Tamils.
The Thali sentiment is also used to the hilt in most Tamil movies. Hindu outfits have gone all out to condemn Khushbu for her comment on the Thali. VHP Kanyakumari organised a protest in Chennai to condemn Khushbu and they even burnt photos of the actress in protest.
