The movie, which was banned in India, got its screen outside India. It is the Tamil movie “Porkalaththil Oru Poo”, which was screened yesterday, before the Human Rights commission in Geneva. The movie was banned, as it deals with the life history of the Srilankan Tamil reporter Isaipriya. The Delhi Censor board officials suggested the director to remove the scene, in which the Tamilnadu CM Dr. J. Jayalalithaa passed a resolution against Srilanka. But without removing the scene, the director has screened it in Geneva. The director has faced a lot of tough situations before screening this movie. He has received, some life threatening phone calls too. K. Ganesan, the director is not frightened for the life threatening anonymous calls, but wants to spread the news to people, who are concerned about the humanity. Still, he is Geneva and taking essential steps to make his movie a universal one.
