Aishwarya Rai’s Father Passed Away!

Krishnaraj Rai, the father of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, passed away, today in Mumbai. He was admitted to the hospital, a couple of weeks ago. As Abhishek Bachchan was away to New York for some work, Aishwarya managed to be with her dad and cared him. However, Krishna’s body didn’t recuperate to the medicines. He was put on the ventilator. But, nothing helped him to come back to normal. He breathed his last at Lilavati Hospital. Aishwarya, who was with her dad for the past two weeks, came out for her daughter’s sports day. She managed singlehandedly, both her daughter and father, says a source from Lilavati. Our deepest condolences to Aishwarya Rai and family! May Krishnaraj’s soul rest in peace!
