According to the recent reports, the casting director cum actor will be making his Tamil debut soon. Banerjee has also begun shooting for the same.

Though born in Kharagpur, Abhishek Banerjee was primarily raised in Chennai and Kalpakkam, due to the repeated postings of his father, who was posted in the Central Industry Security Force.
