Rahman
” is one among the versatile actors of Mollywood, who manages varieties of roles offered. He juggles between Kollywood and Mollywood. Started his career as a hero, he portrayed villain and character roles too. Rahman had played cop role in many of his movies. Of late he has committed doing a cop role. But, this time, he is doing it differently. Rahman explains his role. "I have spent most of 2015 acting as a police officer," says Rahman. "Both movies are crime thrillers. I have tried to bring in a difference in terms of body language and mannerisms for both the characters. In Pagadai Attam, I play a young and smart cop but for D16, my character is a retired police officer. I play a matured officer and as part of my preparation I gained a lot of weight. I stopped working out, and I touched 104 kg at one point of time. I maintained a distance with the youngsters on the sets and sort of lived the character during its shooting," says the dedicated cop specialist Rahman. Rahman feels great to work with the young team for his film, D16. He says, "The movie is a result of intense teamwork. It's one of those projects where everyone was involved in the process and determined to make it the best possible movie." Wish you all the best Rahman!
