Popular Scribe TA Razzaq Is No More!

“T A Razzaq,” the popular scriptwriter was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi, for the past one month. He was suffering from liver disease. The 58-year-old Mollywoodan died today after his body failed to respond to the medicines. His body will be kept at Moyinkutty Vaidyar Memorial Hall, Kondotty for the public and his cinema friends to pay the final respect. The funeral will take place in Juma Masjid. Started his career as an assistant director, he changed his route to scriptwriting in 1991 with Vishnulokam by “Mohanlal.” He received the Kerala State Film Awards for his best works in Kaanakinavu, Aayirathil Oruvan and Perumazhakkalam. His elder brother was also a scenarist, “T A Shahid,” who is popular for his works in Rajamanikyam and Balettan. Our heartfelt condolences to Razzaq’s family! May his soul rest in peace!
