Kamala Surayya Biopic Is Titled As Aami!

Kamala Surayya is the popular Malayalam writer. With her attractive narration, she had impressed many. “Kamal,” the popular Mollywood filmmaker is all set to direct the biopic on the writer. Kamala Surayya was called by her nickname Aami. So, the director decided to title his project as Aami. The film has Bollywood actress Vidya Balan in the lead. She plays Kamala and Murali Gopy plays her husband. This is the first lead film for Vidya in Mollywood. Although she is a Malayali, she is making her solo debut after a decade. However, she has performed in a guest role in “Urumi” led by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Vidya’s second film in Mollywood also has a connection with Prithviraj. Yes, Prithvi will be seen as a fictional character in this film. The film is based on the autobiography of the writer. The film will start its initial shooting by September. Kamal is an expert in making biopics and he has already done a film on JC Daniel, the father of Malayalam cinema.
