He posted Onam special dishes and captioned, “Absolutely awesome ONAM thali at OOTY, 66 Baker Street, London W1U 7DJ.” He was accused of cheating banks including State Bank of India, Bank Of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Federal Bank Ltd, IDBI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, J&K Bank, State Bank of Mysore, Punjab and Sind Bank, Punjab National Bank, UBI, UCO Bank and JM Financial Asset Reconstruction Co. Pvt Ltd.

Mallya had not yet paid any of his dues that are up to Rs 9000 crores. At present, he has been in the UK, roaming freely. Even though he is charged with financial crimes, he is not yet arrested.
