Uorfi Javed To Make Bollywood Debut With ‘LSD 2’!

Love has been a classic template for Indian cinema. However, some directors give it their twist, like Dibakar Bannerjee. Following the surprise success of his anthology ‘LSD’ [‘Love, Sex aur Dhokha’], which was released in 2010, the spiritual sequel, ‘LSD 2’, will focus on love in the age of social media.

Interestingly, to make this project as authentic as possible, the makers have also convinced social media influencer Uorfi Javed, to join this project. With that, the former television actress will be making her official on-screen debut. Uorfi is known for both her social media presence, and her unique, borderline bizarre sense of fashion.

On the other hand, this will be Dibakar’s return to the 70 mm. screen after 3 years, his last film being ‘Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar’, released in 2021. The film wasn’t financially successful but gained massive popularity when screened on Amazon Prime.
