Talking about her role in Omung Kumar’s next Sarbjit, where she plays Sukhpreet, she says that she feels blessed to have gotten to play a real life character- a character so strong and emotional. She recalls the first time when he had met Sukhpreet, and the lady ended up crying in front of the actress. It was challenging to be a part of a story so powerful and yet so sensitive. The film had to be created with a lot of care keeping the real characters and their emotions in mind. She, ahead of the film’s release, hopes that she was able to justify Sukhpreet’s character on the Silver screen. She praises Aishwarya Rai for being able to balance her professional life and her personal life so well. She counts her among the wittiest, most warm and meticulous actors she has got to work with until date. She says that since the two shared the screen space quite a lot in the film, she got to learn a lot from her as an actor. She also finds Hooda, a man who is hanging between nice and edgy. She has earlier worked with the actor in the biopic of the serial killer Charles Shobraj and says that she is well aware of his mood swings. She hopes that the film does justice to all the characters. She says that the story, primarily of Aishwarya and Randeep, is emotionally draining, and prays that the audience likes it.
